Assuming the Capital city for Andhra Pradesh between Vijayawada and Guntur, land rates have reached to Peak all the sudden. It’s difficult to procure lands from private owners for Capital Construction. Keeping that in view in advance, AP Government ordered revenue department to stop all registrations among 20 mandals in two districts. Government will soon release the GO on this after Chief Minister’s Signature. Government has right to stop the land registration Under Section 22 of Stamps and Registrations Act if that land useful for the government interests. As per buzz, there may be chance to include some more mandals to stop the registrations. Government has planned to gather the data of available Government lands in and around Krishna and Guntur districts. There are around 25K to 30K acres of Government lands available among these mandals. Government has planned to use these lands for the construction of Airport, Universities and AIIMS in new state. There are 9 Mandals from Krishna district and 12 Mandals in Guntur district. There is also extending the area to Nandigama in Krishna district and up to Sattenapalli and Pedakurapadu in Guntur district.
