Elections for ZP Chairman and Vice-Chairman were completed both in Andhra and Telangana. Ruling parties have dominated to bag majority of Zilla Paridhads in their regions. TRS bag all 6 Zilla Parishads and Congress won just Nalgonda Zilla Parishad in Telangana. TDP won 10 out of 11 Zilla Parishads in Andhra Pradesh YSRCP won its own bastion Kadapa where as Chairman Election in Nellore and Prakasam have postponed.
The same news appeared in all dailies in the morning. But SAKSHI had published different analysis on these elections in both states. SAKSHI published the TRS victory in Telangana is because of TRS strategy in attracting other party ZPTCs. After reading this article SAKSHI defends TRS Operation Akarsh. Daily proudly announced that TRS won three ZPs even though there is no strength on its own.
Coming to Andhra Pradesh elections, SAKSHI published that ruling TDP made mockery of democracy. It published the strength of Kurnool in tabular form and criticized that TDP won Kurnool ZP even though there is no majority. SAKSHI claims that TDP is the reason for postpone of ZP election in Prakasam and Nellore districts. What TRS did in Telangana is correct for SAKSHI but not correct to TDP in AP.
