The hue and cry by the Telangana government and loud noises from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu notwithstanding, sources say as per Article 8 of AP reorganization act, powers should clearly go to joint governor.
This was supposed to be done last month itself but NDA government was reportedly still adjusting itself to new responsibilities in Delhi and didn’t pay much attention. However, the man with new powers will be Narasimhan according to Article 8.
