Is Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao playing double games with the Center and Telangana people? Yes - says a very reliable source in the Union Ministry. According to the source, Home Ministry officials even placing Telangana bill in Parliament informed KCR about the inclusion of 7 Mandals of Polavaram in to Andhra Pradesh.
It is said that KCR is even said about the special privileges the Governor will be having over the common capital. UPA government placed the bill in Lok Sabha only after KCR agreeing to all the conditions. KCR reportedly told that achieving Telangana state is of paramount importance than the remaining things. But once the government got changed and the statehood is attained, KCR changed his stance.
It is said that Home Ministry officials have submitted the minutes of KCR meeting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was only then the Home Ministry issued circular regarding the special powers to be issued to the Governor in the state capital. But KCR is know acting ignorant of all these things and pushing the blame on to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandra Babu Naidu and Narendra Modi.
However, it is said that Central government has already made it clear that Polavaram project will be happening and also Governor will be given powers over the Common Capital. Modi reportedly sent in a message regarding the same through one of his lieutenants outside the government to cooperate or face the music.
