The Lok Sabha has passed the Polavaram Ordinance Bill with the voice vote amid of TRS and BJD MPs uproar. By passing this bill, there are seven mandals will be included in Andhra Pradesh. Home Minister gave assurance to the tribals on rehabilitation package for all who feared to inundate due to the construction Polavaram.
Inundation is common whether it is in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Political parties have played their part of the role in getting the mileage. A total of 211 Villages and 34K families of this area will merge in Andhra Pradesh by this bill. 7 Mandals including Bhadrachalam sans Rama Temple will merge into AP. Politically voters of two Assembly Segments (Bhadrachalam and Aswaraopet) have to cast their vote in AP.
Bhadrachalam MLA (CPM) Sunnam Rajaiah fall in troubles politically. Rajaiah who went for hunger strike against Polavaram bill will ask for votes to AP now for victory. It was embarrsement situation for him. Ashwaraopet Congress MLA Mitrasena could act very cleverly in this regard. He didn’t go aggressively as like Rajaiah. 80% of Bhadrachalam voters and 30% of Ashwaraopet Segment voters will merge from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh. Political future of Bhadrachalam and Aswaraopeta MLAs are in doldrums.
