Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has already targeted Actor Nagarjuna and the Telugu Film Development Corporation is various lands issue. And now he is eyeing the next set of targets like directors K. Raghavendra Rao, K.S. Prakash, Krishna Mohan. In order to bring film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad, the then state government has allotted several acres of land at subsidised rates to industry members between 1983 and 1999. The condition was for them to set up film and recording studios.  These film directors were granted half acres each for setting up recording and film-shooting studios. But they violated the condition and built commercial establishments. Film directors K. Raghavendra Rao and Krishna Mohan were granted land at Road No. 2 at Banjara Hills near NTR Trust Bhavan and the duo has built Cinemax theatre and a commercial complex there. While the half acre allotted to K.S. Prakash is being used as a parking lot. These people are ready to pay any penality and regularize the establishments but government is no mood to accept the proposal. The government is keen on reclaiming the land. Notices will be issued to them with a 10-day time frame to reply as to why the land should not be reclaimed. Similarly, the officials have reclaimed 3.31 acres land in Jubilee Hills allotted to Anand Cine Services, an outdoor film unit. The management failed to utilize if for the purpose it was given for. Officials say the reclaimed land could be worth nearly Rs 100 crore.
