Finally, after a hiatus of many weeks, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Chiranjeevi was seen blushing after Sonia gave full support for passage of Polavaram bill in Rajya Sabha which has now cleared all the hurdles.
Chiru proudly declared that it was his Polavaram Sadhana Yaathra during PRP’s formation that created pressure regarding this project and mentioned that it was one of his preconditions to join Congress party.
Everyone, including a small child in Andhra Pradesh is aware the extent of troubles facing Chandrababu’s government in AP with the budget deficit, lack of clarity on capital and loss of Hyderabad and yes, the burden of starting everything from the scratch.
Unmindful of all this, Chiranjeevi proudly declared that they have given AP on a golden platter ie ‘bangaru pallem’ to Chandrababu and spoke as if it is now upto Naidu to use golden opportunities created by Congress in Seemandhra. Maybe Sonia would have the last laugh.
