The Hyderabad High Court has reportedly faulted the United Andhra Pradesh government with regards to implementation of the GO Ms No. 45 for regulating the fee structure in private schools, by mentioning that no steps were taken by the government. This was the instance related to fixing private school fees in 2010 but now the central teams are assessing that many problems for AP and TS are arising due to former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s negligence. At a time when most thermal power plants were supposed to get more coal allocations and enough reserves, except for power tariff hike, Kiran reportedly did not bother about coal allocations. Regarding fee reimbursement, sources say that Kiran government did not release thousands of crores desperately needed for engineering colleges. At the same time though there was full scope for Andhra Pradesh government then to have approached RBI to reschedule farmer loans due to drought and severe floods and cyclone last year, the then government hardly approached RBI. We have to see what Kiran has to say to this.
