Starting with 16K crores of deficit budget, Andhra Pradesh starts its journey optimistically. AP Chief Minister CBN doesn’t know the how much revenue monthly that received to the state. CBN expected to know first month revenue by the end of this month. Many has feared on monthly revenue of AP. But in reality, Government and officials shocked after seeing the original revenue of the state till June 30th.
New State Andhra Pradesh has registered impressive tax revenue collections in first month since bifurcation. Around 1500 crores revenue earned by the new state in its first month till the end of June 30th that insists the observers to come to opinion that AP’s financial strength being in “sound condition”. In Vijayawada Circle – I alone, collection for this month has been whooping 215 crores as against last year’s 75 crores revenue.
The exact revenue collection will be known on Sunday (July 20th) which will be last date of the tax filing. Officials have predicted after seeing the first month collections that AP would expect to collect around 30K – 35L crores from the collections for this financial year. The collections are unexpected and far from the initial expectations. CBN also in thought of rising of the revenue in various forms by auctioning seized Red Sandal wood and Sand.
