TDP President CBN has told many times that would be capital of the Andhra Pradesh seeming like Singapore. There are two committees that have worked for the new capital of the state. Central Government nominated Siva Rama Krishnan Committee has nearing to complete the find out the suitable place for the capital city. AP Government is also appointed another committee under the leadership of Municipal Minister P. Narayana.
This will check the possibilities in constructing essential buildings like Rajbhavan, Assembly and Secretariat. There is an assumption that Capital city is in between Vijayawada and Guntur. There is lot of demand for the lands in two states. It’s difficult to procure lands to the Government for the capital city from the farmers. Around 30K acres of land require for the Capital city.
AP Government is in thought of build of capital city like “Putrajaya” in Malaysia. Putrajaya is a planned city which is located 25 KMs of Kaula Lumpur. Malaysia seeks to construct new capital due to overcrowding population in Kaula Lumpur. Construction of capital like Putrajaya need not require 30K acres of land. Putrajaya was built around 11K acres. Narayana Committee will soon travel Malaysia to know the details of this city.
