YSRCP won 9 Assembly Segments out of existing 10 in Kadapa district. Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy won over his arch rival Rama Subba Reddy with thin margin of votes. Adi Narayana Reddy made a comment that Jagan not offer even a single cup of coffee at his house. He joined in YSRCP before the elections and got ticket for Jammalamadugu. Before the general elections, TDP showed its upper hand in Municipal Elections in the district.
TDP bag 4 out of 7 Municipalities in the district including Mydukur, Produtur, Badwel and Jammalamadugu. After the TDP form the government, many of the ward members joined in TDP from YSRCP in Erraguntla. That makes tie between two parties and it’s inevitable for the collector to went for lucky draw for the election of the Chairman. Jagan assigned these responsibilities to MLA Adi Narayana Reddy and Erraguntla Chairmanship won by YSRCP in the draw.
YSRCP attracted TDP ward member in Jammalamadugu that again forced to went for lucky draw in Chairman Election. This time also YSRCP won the Municipal Chairman in the draw. This raised confidence on Adi Narayana Reddy to Jagan. He assigned another responsibility of Nellore ZP Chairman Election to Adi again. Adi rushed towards Nellore and party had won Nellore ZP in the lucky draw.
