Soon after he took the charge as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, CBN hasn’t taken any harsh decision. He increased retirement age limit from 58 to 60 years for government employees, CBN has plan to implement the raising of monthly pension to the aged and handicapped from October 02nd onwards and he decided to waive all farmer loans within 1.5 lacs. All these are positive decisions towards the people.
AP Government is in thought of raising funds and is searching for different possible options for increasing funds. It’s necessary to overcome the deficit for the state government. Municipal Affairs Minister P. Narayana said that Property tax might increase every year in all Municipalities and Corporations in the state. AP government plans to increase the tax with proportionate percentage regularly.
Narayana also said that all corporations and municipalities might have linked with software in the state. Details of assigned works and related allocated funds are maintained in the database. This will be the first direct tax on people of Andhra Pradesh after TDP came into the power. Finance Minister Yenamala also thought of assign the maintenance of 8 Check posts in all borders of the state to private organizations.
