Power will be more crucial factor for Telangana state after the division of the state. Due to using drip irrigation in the region for agriculture sector, Telangana requires more Power than Andhra Pradesh. CBN decision on cancellation of existing PPP with Telangana pushed the Telangana Government in more troubles. As per the realty, daily 3 to 4 hours power cuts are inevitable in Hyderabad. There were no Power cuts in capital city since many years. After seeing the regular power cuts, people who were lived in the city surprised. Reportedly, power situation will be grim when it comes to Mandals and Villages. As per buzz, just 2 to 4 hours power supplied to the agriculture sector in telangana region. It seems that Andhra Pradesh has no such situation like in Telangana. Telangana Government has a plan to bought 2K MW power from Chhattisgarh to overcome the problem. Power cuts in all towns and Villages have gradually reduced in AP. Even though rainy season is not encouraging power cuts reduced in AP. Induction AP into Union Government’s pilot project of supplying 24*7 current along with Rajasthan and Delhi will be the advantage for the state. AP government decided to implement 24*7 current with effect from October 02nd. CBN’s regular follow-up with Central Government and agreed to supply tones of coal to AP. Krishnapatnam Power Project is near to complete would give additional benefit to AP. As per the reports from AP, Power cuts in Hyderabad are more than Ananthapur and Macharla in AP.
