In general, it’s difficult to get an appointment of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and President Sonia Gandhi for Congress leaders. But after receiving the shock from AP voters, Congress High Command wants to know the reality situation in AP. Rahul wants the leaders who express their opinion with candid and frankness. Rahul make a call to Devineni Nehru and his son personally to meet him in Delhi.
As per buzz, both father and son were met Rahul in Delhi and discussed with him on current political developments for more than one hour. Devineni suggests Rahul not allow the Congress leaders who desert the party in difficult times. He also told Rahul to give importance to the party cadre who really and sincerely working for the party in general elections. People were not like to vote for Congress just because of the division of the Andhra Pradesh.
Reportedly, Rahul asked biography of Devineni Avinash who was contested for Vijayawada Parliament as Congress Nominee. Rahul praised Devineni family commitment towards party though they know the defeat in the general elections. Devineni also briefed on YSRCP situation in the party. Devineni told YSRCP can’t become alternative to TDP in future. Rahul asked them to meet regularly for every two months.
