Assembly is considered as the Temple of democracy. Laws are made here which decide the future of crores of people. But Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao seem to have told blunt lies in the Assembly itself. In the first Assembly session of Telangana state, KCR made a long speech on various issues of the state. He even gunned Newschannels like TV9 and ABN from Assembly which later led to banning of those channels by MSOs of the state. While KCR reacted heavily on a parody program aired by TV9, he breathed fire of Andhra Jyothy newspaper for a particular article on the state government. The article said Telangana government is considering to impose inter state tax on all the vehicles and goods that come from Seema Andhra. KCR accused Andhra Jyothy of spreading lies on Telangana government and there is no such tax proposals. Andhra Jyothy was fighting on the issue to revoke the ban but Telangana government cleverly escaped from the issue stating that government has no role in the ban and it is an independent decision by the T-MSOs. But it is an open secret that government is aiding MSOs in this issue. On the other side, KCR government has issued a GO which imposed interstate tax on all the vehicles that comes from Seema Andhra to Telangana making the news article of Andhra Jyothy absolutely true. On June 1st, Governor during the President's rule issued an order that there will not be any inter state tax between these states till March 2015. But Telangana orders will overwrite those orders 8 months early. Transport Associations are planning to go to the courts over this affair. Telangana government is expecting 100 Crore income from these taxes.
