TRS Senior Leader and Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy is basically from Hyderabad. Due to less impact of Telangana agitation in the city, Nayani decided not to contest from Musheerabad as TRS nominee in 2014 General elections. He won as MLA from Musheerabad in 2009 and lost to Congress Manemma. But KCR was appointed Nayani as Telangana Home Minister and selected to Legislative Council as MLC.
Peddireddy is also kept himself out from 2014 general elections from Karimnagar district. Elections were took place in Malhotra Lazer Company in Qutbullapur Segment. Both Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and TDP Senior Leader E. Peddireddy were contested in Union Elections for the Company. Peddireddy and other 10 members in his panel won the Union elections over Nayani’s.
CBN and other TDP leaders have congratulated Peddireddy’s victory. Peddireddy said that Company workers voted for him though Home Minister Nayani makes an impact with false promises in this election. As per Peddireddy, Nayani assured to the workers on job for each family and plot for each family. TDP feels a great sigh of relief with Peddireddy’s victory.
