Well the much-expected one on one meeting between old friends turned new rivals Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM KCR seems to have had some interesting conversations.
There are reports widely in media today that even Telangana CM KCR had reportedly suggested to CBN that Vijayawada was an ideal location for AP’s new capital. KCR reportedly used his vaastu knowledge too to support the same.
KCR reportedly mentioned that when he was involved in a meeting with PM Manmohan Singh last year, the then PM also took out AP map and suggested the central location of Vijayawada to be an ideal location.
At a time when CBN is facing flak for reportedly favoring this place due to business interests and favoritism for his associates, the statement from his arch rival that yes, Vijayawada is the best is seen as a shot in the arm and is enough for Pro-Naidu media to aggressively market the thought.
