As expected, the Day 1 of the Andhra Pradesh assembly sessions began on a stormy note . Heated arguments took place between the ruling party and opposition party MLAs regarding the Political violence. YSRCP MLAs vociferously demanded a debate on the deteriorating law and order situation in the new state. The party sought to raise the killing of a dozen of its workers ever since the TDP took over reins of power.Side-tracking the issue, the TDP MLAs tried to bring the murder of Paritala Ravi which happened 10 years ago.  Responding on the issue Jagan said that the allegations were “baseless”. Jagan said that court already convicted the accused in the case and Chandrababu also very much aware about that. The YSRCP chief also questioned Chandrababu as to why he had not ordered the CBI probe in Vangaveeti Ranga's murder case.  Jagan Mohan Reddy has warned the TDP MLAs to be ready to face defamation cases if they continue to make baseless allegations against him.  YSRC MLA Kodali Nani backed Jagan on the issue and questioned why Chandrababu welcomed JC Diwakar Reddy into the party though he was facing allegations of plotting the murder of Paritala Ravi along with Jagan.  He also alleged TDP is raising Paritala murder only to divert the debate on law & order situation in the Assembly. As the Opposition members continued to seek a debate on the law and order issue, the Speaker then adjourned the House for the day
