Governor E S L Narasimhan will reportedly get the Central nod for vesting special powers over law and order in Hyderabad. Sources say that Narasimhan reportedly met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and informed him of the current situation in Hyderabad.
Rajnath reportedly instructed Narsimhan that he should get ready to take up special powers as per the AP Reorganization Act, but also added a word of caution that it should used in a very cautious manner.
Meanwhile TRS MPs are expected to meet Rajnath Singh on Thursday and convince him over the issues related to transferring of special powers to the Governor. TRS MP B Vinod already announced that he will be registering a formal protest with the home minister against the governor powers.
Now the big question is will TRS chief KCR become silent once Narasimhan becomes Hyderabad Baadshah just like how he has accepted Polavaram mandals transfer to AP! The way things are on, that might be difficult.
