BJP and TDP alliance is almost confirm for Medak Parliament and GHMC elections as well. Amit Shah meeting with CBN supports the alliance buzz again between two parties. Now it’s the turn of other parties like Congress, TRS and MIM how they proceed on GHMC elections. In 2009, TRS had not participated in GHMC elections. TDP and Congress exposed TRS weakness for not participating in GHMC elections.
Now the situation has changed after 5 years. TRS showed significant performance both in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad as well in 2014 general elections. Being a ruling party in Telangana, it becomes prestigious to TRS to win majority in GHMC. Everyone knows that TRS is not strong enough to contest in Twin Cities. As per some analysts TRS certainly need friendship of either Congress or MIM in these elections.
There is no chance of alliance between Congress and TRS. The only option to the ruling party is MIM. It is the question how positively MIM responds to go with TRS in GHMC elections. MIM has strong hold in old city. That too, Andhra people are in dominate position in twin cities. Recent TRS decisions create lot of disturbance among the people in the city.
