Congress party is in dilemma whether to contest in Nandigama bye-election or not. Local Congress leaders want to contest in this bye-election and they pressurized on Krishna district Congress leader Devineni Nehru. Congress leaders in Nandigama have strongly believed that anti government waves started against CBN government and on his conditions in waiving the loans to the farmers.
Devineni Nehru asked Raghuveera to contest from this segment. Raghuveera discussed with all Congress leaders like Kanna, Botsa and Anam in this regard. They will meet and analyzed the political situation on Nandigama. Krishna district leaders also will participate in this meeting. If Congress can’t contest in Nandigama it will certainly lost the chance to contest in Allagadda too.
Even after her sad demise, Shoba failed to get huge majority in Allagadda. Congress is worried what it will do if TDP decides to contest in Allagadda. Deputy Speaker Mandali Budda Prasad also suggested Congress leaders not to stand in Nandigama. YSRCP was decided not to contest in Nandigama bye-election. If Congress is really ready to contest in Nandigama who will ready to contest?
