At a time when Medak Lok Sabha seat election is turning interesting, there seems to be some dramatic events which happened in the background. The key player is said to be the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu and here are few details.
Sources say that while BJP was not confident of announcing a candidature on time for Medak, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu reportedly played his cards smartly. The Congressman Jagga Reddy was initially reluctant to contest as BJP candidate.
Realizing his popularity in Sanga Reddy, TDP cadre strength, Prathap Reddy’s clout in Gajwel and enthusiastic RSS cadre, CBN dialled union minister Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi who in turn promised good respect to Jagga Reddy even in case he is defeated and ample campaign fund and support.
Meanwhile, CBN also reportedly made sure that power star Pawan Kalyan gives assurance to Jagga about his support during campaign. Finally he agreed to contest for the Medak by election. It now has to be seen who will contest on behalf of TRS and how the battle will be.
