TDP Senior Leader in Khammam district Tummala Nageswara Rao surprised many by joining in TRS. He joined in TRS along with other district leaders. Tummala lost his election from Khammam Assembly to Puvvada Ajay Kumar (Congress). He wrote the resignation letter to TDP President CBN without mentioning any reason for his leaving. But his associates found fault on former MP Nama Nageswara Rao was the reason for TDP defeat in Khammam district.
There was cold war between Tummala and Naama since last 5 years in the district. Dissidence between two leaders was reached in peak at the time of selection of candidates. Ruling TRS party was too weak in Khammam to face politically in the district. KCR starts haunting for TDP leaders to invite into the party. Finally Tummala accepted KCR offer to join into TRS on September 05th.
Reportedly, KCR offered both MLC and Minister to Tummala Nageswara Rao in this regard. KCR has planned to expand his ministry before the budget sessions. As per buzz, Tummala is the only person would take oath just two days before the budget session. Tummala entrance in TRS might hit the chance of Jalagam Venkata Rao who is lone MLA for TRS in the district.
