As per reports from Andhrapradesh political circles, Andhrapradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu naidu will announce the new capital city on this Thursday which is 'dasami'. Guntur farmers are ready to give 8000 plus acres, if the new capital of Andhra Pradesh state is named after NTR, says the agriculture minister Pratipati Pulla Rao. He declared at the assembly today that the CM has already reached a decision and he is in consultation with the center on the follow up action for the setting up of the new capital and also other infrastructure.
'We welcome the new capital where ever Chandrababu decides and that he will come up with a decision after consulting all stake holders like government employees, farmers, industrialists and also civil society' the minister said in the assembly lobby. He said the announcement of the name of the new capital was put off today in search of a good muhurtam. 'One should always look for a good day and muhurtam when they take up big projects' said the minister.
