AP Government has a plan to stand in first in Power Generation in coming 4 years. Officials are in preparations for the supply of 24x7 Power effective October 02nd onwards. BJP Government took initiative and selected Delhi, Rajasthan and AP states for this project. Minister of Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal would likely to come to Hyderabad to sign on MOU with AP Government in this week.
At the same time, MOU agreements would take place on formation of NTPC 4K MW Thermal Power Station in Visakhapatnam. Officials are also in thought of establishing 2.5K MW Solar Power plant in Rayalaseema districts. Prime Minister Modi is also interested on this. Companies from US also have intention to start Solar Power Plants in four districts of Rayalaseema. Modi would likely to come to laid stone for Solar Park in Rayalaseema and President Obama for opening.
Initially, AP Government plans to establish Solar Park with capacity of 1K MW in Guntur district but withdrawn from the proposal due to not having sufficient place. Chief Minister CBN put all his efforts on Power situation in the state. He regularly conducted review meetings with officials that made them alert.
