The prestigious Hero motor corp’s plant is all set to be established in Andhra Pradesh, if reports are to be believed. This would mean that the announcement made by the Telangana government about Hero plant being setup in their state is not true.
Sources say that the plant which entails an investment of not less than Rs 3000 crores is a big boost for Chandrababu Naidu’s image given that KCR almost convinced the management to have the plant near Zaheerabad or Hyderabad’s suburbs.
The plant then was rumored to have gone to Karnataka but now it is all set to come up near Sricity SEZ in Chittoor district of AP. The location is close to Chennai port and not that far away from Karnataka too. Even Kerala could be covered from here.
Moreover the company is planning to export more from this plant to South East Asian countries which makes proximity to Chennai ideal. No doubt, TDP will use this for maximum publicity and attracting more investors!
