Media Baron Ramoji Rao and his Eenadu paper has become an eminent part and parcel of the lives of Telugu people over several years. Since the days of NT Rama Rao, Eenadu has the power of making or breaking AP Politics. YSR even attacked on Margadarsi group belonging to Ramoji Rao but the media baron successfully sailed the ship with people's support on his side. Ramoji Rao has created AP and Telangana editions for Eenadu Newspaper as well as ETV News. It looked like Ramoji Rao was going soft on KCR and his government on various issues. However today Ramoji Rao showed his true mettle hitting the government over its stand on Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. Eenadu Newspaper today carried an exclusive story of how KCR's government is not cooperating to the concessionaire L&T and how the company wants to back off from the project. Even though the government heads gave all is well feelers and media conspiracy statements to media. KCR immediately held meeting with Metro MD, Chief Secretary and L&T officials regarding the issue. It shows how Eenadu has shaken the government. Even hardcore Telangana activists say they wants Eenadu to play the watchdog role to KCR's government to protect the new state's interests.
