There are no permanent friend and foes in politics. This proverb is proved in Khammam politics. There was cold political war between Jalagam and Tummala families in Khammam district since last 3 decades. Both Jalagam Vengala Rao and Venkata Rao were fight with TDP when they were in Congress. Tummala Nageswara Rao was treated as arch rival for Jalagam family in the district. But political scene has just reversed. Both are joined in TRS now.
Jalagam Venkata Rao went to Thummala when he joined in Hospital last month and made an enquiry on his health. Tummala visited Jalagam’s house soon after he discharged from Hospital. Tummala was worked for TDP since last 3 decades. He did fight with mighty Jalagam Vengala Rao in his early days in the district. All five times Tummala was elected over Jalagam sons from Sattupalli and Khammam Assembly Segments.
Recently, he joined in TRS along with TDP cadre. KCR ordered Khammam cadre to work under the leadership of Tummala Nageswara Rao in Khammam. To give more clarity to TRS cadre in the district, Tummala decided to meet Jalagam Venkata Rao. Jalagam was also invited Tummala for lunch to his house. This is the latest political topic in the district.
