The Hyderabad High Court on Friday asked the Telangana state advocate-general to direct the Hyderabad city police to produce AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao’s grandson before the court on Friday at any cost. High court handed over the custody of the grandson of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao to Padma Priya, the estranged wife of Kodela Sivaramakrishna, son of Mr Siva Prasad Rao.
Padmapriya told the court that her husband and a local police inspector took away her son. She has filed a case against her husband alleging him of kidnapping their 4 year old son.
The chief justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta expressed anger at local police accompanying kodela Sivaramakrishna when he forcibly took away the 4-year-old son of the petitioner. Chief justice has questioned Kodela Sivaramakrishna for taking away the boy with the help of local police. Replying to chief justice question, kodela Sivaramakrishna said that, I took my son to Hyderabad for obesity treatment.
