Sakshi Channel and Telangana media lodged complaining against on Telugu desam party to Press Council of India. These news channels alleging that TDP led Andhra Pradesh state government are sidelining them for their official programs implementing an unofficial blanket ban.
PCI President Makandeya Kattu responded seriously and he appointed 3 member committee to look and enquire total matter with in a span of time. It is known that PCI intervened in the issue of MSOs blacking out ABN and TV9 channels and Telangana Govt supporting the ban. PCB Chairman Katju opposed Telananga CM KCR's behavior.
