It is common to see high profile public personalities hiring same set of lawyers to argue their cases and now the turn has come for Jayalalithaa’s case. The former CM of Tamil Nadu has been imprisoned for four years on charges of disproportionate assets.
Sources say that the high profile lawyer from Delhi and also former BJP leader, Ram Jethmalani is reportedly all set to argue for Jaya madam in Bangalore high court. Given his reputation, Mr. Jethmalani is believed to charge even one crore for one day.
This is for arguing in favor his clients. Moreover, it would be interesting to see if Jaya indeed gets bail. Given many similarities between Jaya and Jagan when it comes to the concept of acquiring disproportionate assets, all eyes are now on Jaya’s bail.
And this is also shifting the attention towards the future course of cases against YSRCP chief Jagan. Everything would depend on how Ram Jethmalani is going to deal with Jaya’s case. For now, it is heard that Jaya is not willing to receive medical treatment.
