According to reports, there have been extensive discussions between Telangana CM KCR and TDP senior leader and Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav for more than a month. This is about Talasani’s switching from TDP to TRS.
Every time, the buzz is around that Talasani is getting ready to dump TDP and sail with TRS but nothing concrete seems to have emerged. While KCR is reportedly assuring Talasani of maximum benefits, the discussion seems to have halted at one point.
Talasani is reportedly seeking the assurance from KCR on Mayor seat for his son for the upcoming GHMC elections in Hyderabad. At the same time, given Talasani’s attitude, KCR is reportedly being urged by other TRS leaders not to concede too much to him.
And they feel that Talasani needs more of TRS for development funds than TRS needs him and they expect him to take plunge without conditions on benefits to his son’s political future! However, many say if Talasani sticks around with TDP, the advantages are higher for him in long term.
