There is no dearth of rumours and speculations from the one and only Congress party although the party has been wiped off from Andhra Pradesh and to a large extent in Telangana state this time.
Recently with his open praises for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress MP from Kerala, Shashi Tharoor was reprimanded and also sacked as the Congress party spokesman, especially for him receiving an invite from PM Modi as part of the Swacch Bharath campaign.
Now sources say that with Chiranjeevi maintaining as much distance from Congress and also his endorsement of Modi’s cleanliness programme, sources say that Congress leadership is not that happy with Chiru.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is expected to tour Vizag very soon and there are some doubts if Chiru would indeed accompany Rahul. There are rumours that Chiru may be sacked from Congress in case he tries to move close with BJP using the good offices of his brother, actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
