Kadiam, a village near Rajahmundry is famous for growing Nursery. The horticulture plants in Kadiam spread over 3500 acres in 11 villages and providing employment to 20K agriculture labour. AP Government has planned to start Horticulture University in Kadiam. The nurseries target global market to export its plants. The greenery in Visakhapatnam surroundings has washed out with horror cyclone HUDHUD. Many huge trees were fall down in Agency area with this cyclone.
AP Chief Minister CBN has felt sorry of lost of greenery of the city. He wants to rebuild the city with all new plans. CBN vowed to restore the natural beauty of Vizag and working on plans for land-scaping in the city. Chief Minister said that he asked the best Horticulture Consultants he knew on developing the greenery in Vizag.
CBN has a plan to rope famous horticulture nurseries in East Godavari district. “I’ll call the Kadiam Nurseries to brought good plants. It is the good opportunity for Kadiam Horticulture developers to grow.” CBN said. As per Chief Minister’s words, Kadiam will have to play vital role in rebuilding the Vizag City.
