After the movement for separate Telangana state picked up, a sort of hatred started developing in many of the TS leaders, who were in other parties apart from TRS. Although many of them had served as ministers in United AP and held key positions, the scenario has changed now. Suddenly they started accusing Andhra people for everything, unmindful of the repercussions it has on common man in Telangana. At a time when AP is facing a serious challenge to restore the glory of Vizag after the devastating cyclone, one person has come forward with an initiative. He is none other than the Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao, who owns a modest home in Amberpet, Hyderabad donated a sum of Rs. 10 Lakh for CM Relief Fund. Stating that Vizag has a special place in his life, Rao also expressed sorrow over the destruction in the city. The amount may not be a huge sum, but Telugu people now feel that he has shown the way over how the mutual hatred should be won over by love and friendly gestures!
