Kurnool district TDP leaders argued with their reasons for contesting in Allagadda bye-elections. They met Nara Lokesh in Hyderabad on this and said that TDP should field its nominee in Allagadda. If TDP President CBN agreed for this Gangula Prabhakar Reddy will file his nomination on Monday. KE, SPY, Erasu, TG and Gangula have participated in the meeting with Lokesh.
Lokesh talked to them combined and separately with them and know their opinion in fielding TDP candidate from Allagadda. He seeks opinion from them whether to contest or not. They said unanimously that party should contest in bye election. They remembered that Congress was contested in Penugonda Assembly bye election in 2005 after Paritala was killed. Though TDP requested YSR for unanimous election, YSR field Congress candidate in Penugonda.
YSR defended his decision that it’s common to contest in Faction Segment to protect the cadre. Quoting this example, Kurnool TDP leaders want to contest in Allagadda. Allagadda is also Faction affected Segment. TDP leaders also argued that there is difference between Allagadda and Nandigama. Tangiraala Prabhakar was passed away after getting victory in 2014 general elections but Shobha Nagi Reddy was killed in an accident before the elections. If TDP decided to contest Allagadda will be the interesting fight between TDP and YSRCP.
