Yes, according to sources Jagan wants YSRCP to merge in Congress as soon as possible and also sent some secret letters to Congress party regarding the merging process. The YSRCP leaders itself feel that being along with Congress can be the only solution in the present political scenario.
Few Congress leaders also said that Jagan was in talks with Sonia Gandhi through KVP Ramachandra Rao and it may be possible that YSRCP will be merged in Congress. However, even Jagan was placing his demands for the party and get possible seats in Rajya Sabha and Cabinet ministry as well in the next elections if Congress wins.
However, even Congress is taken this offer seriously because even YSRCP has got eight MP's which can be a good number for a strong opposition. So, even Congress is keen about Jagan's YSRCP merging proposal.
Even Jagan seems to take the issue of holding the part for another term is difficult and wants to wash his hands off. So, will the result be positive to Jagan? Will Congress agree to all their demands?
