Yes, the Krishna River Board has finally opened its thoughts giving a shock to KCR the Board called for an emergency meeting on 29th of October to sort out on this issue. The states are presently arguing over the Srisailam Project water.
The Krishna River Board Chairman Pandit, Secretary RK Gupta and Engineer in Chief of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be sitting down and resolving the issue. The known fact is that Telangana will be given strict orders to immediately stop the power production using the water from Left Canal.
As we know that Telangana has been using water from Srisailam left canal to use to generate electricity and this clearly tells that water is not sufficient for drinking and irrigation itself. Andhra Pradesh has been telling Telangana that not to use this water and store for summer.
But, KCR did not listen and still continuing to produce power from the canal. So ,the Board is going to give strict orders to T-Government to stop using water for electricity and store for coming summer. Will KCR come down to this?
