Apparently,the CM of Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu Naidu has been working day and night to bring Vizag to normalcy. After the state division, AP has been really left with nothing much of revenue. So, Babu started his move asking the Centre to sanction them Rs 9751 crores. The loss of the city was estimated to be Rs 63,000 crores and the state government has spent almost 22 crores and 1600 crores was been supported by the central government. They have also estimated the loss only to private and domestic was Rs 40,000 crores which is truly a massive damage. AP government has sent a detailed report to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) about the loss that incurred with the cyclone, Hudhud. Now, the state government seeks help from Centre to give them Rs 9751 crores as it could be a help in the present situation. He detailed the loss for industries is Rs 6136 Crore, Domestic is Rs 3236 Crore, Municipality is Rs 3621 crore and so on. He told that Hudhud is a cyclone that has never been seen before. He told that it should be claimed a National Calamity! So, Babu asked Centre to help the port city.
