Yes, it is surely a bad news to Andhra people that Babu is in a a thought to increase the taxes over different sectors. This is because of inadequate funds so as to the smooth functioning of the government to carry out various programs apart from rebuilding Vizag. Presently, the government is under huge crisis keeping in mind the cyclone destruction.
The taxes may be increased for land registration, gift deeds, settlement deeds, changing agricultural land to commercial land, good vehicles entry, green cess, distilleries capacity increase etc.This is to increase revenue of the State that would be helpful to use for development.
However, there has been no official announcement made by the officials. It seems Babu asked them the officials to collect opinion from he private sectors without actually affecting the common people and domestic living. Even the Centre doesn't seem to support much and this could be another option to Babu.
The funds have almost emptied and so Babu thought if Centre doesn't help them out then they will increase the taxes. But if he does so, there may be a rebel community for Babu! TDP may become a question of win in the next elections if he goes against the will of people? What do you say?
