Vijayawada Central TDP MLA Bonda Uma Maheswararao’s son Siddharth who is currently absconding was finally arrested by police. It’s already known that the police have filed a case against him along with 7 others who were responsible for the racing fiasco in Vijayawada.
Siddarth was arrested in connection with the death of an engineering student in a car crash on the busy NH-9 near Yedlapadu on Sunday evening.Siddarth was allegedly conducted car race and an engineering student Nagendra(22) who was capturing the visuals died during this incident.The mishap occurred at Timmapuram village of Yadlapadu mandal in Guntur district on Sunday night. Eight persons were also injured in the incident.From then siddarth was absconding.
Siddarth and his friend Jai Sivaram were produced before the Chilakaluripet court and Cases were booked under IPC 304 A (causing death of any person by committing any rash or negligent act not amounting to culpable homicide) and IPC 337 (causing hurt by an act endangering life or personal safety of others).
This is not the first time that the son of the MLA participating in car races. Earlier, Siddartha was then arrested and he was taken into custody by the police for the same kind of offence. Other side MLA Bonda Uma clarified that his son was never involved in bike or car racing.The legislator told that his son was on his way to some private programme when the accident happened.
