Chirala MLA Amanchi Srinivas had won elections this time as an MLA and that too as an independent. He tried hard to secure a ticket in TDP but he couldn’t due to local cadre resistance.
After becoming MLA, he openly declared support for TDP and tried to eneter Naidu’s cabinet, but now sources say that after his failed attempts to enter TDP, he is moving towards BJP.
Known to be an ardent follower of senior Congress leader and current Tamil Nadu Governor Rosaiah, Srinivas is now negotiating with BJP.
There are reports that he may be joining the party formally soon. So, the person who considers the senior Congress man as his god father is also moving towards Modi wave. AP’s political scene has changed completely after bifurcation.
