The noted leader and ex-MLA Kishan Reddy is a plus and as much a minus too for BJP in Telangana. After the formation of two states, comparisons look inevitable now for every party’s unit in two states.
The scenario of BJP, which is currently heading India, is interesting to observe in both states. The exposure which Telangana BJP got till bifurcation needs no introduction but after bifurcation it is AP BJP which is becoming a big plus for the saffron party.
While Kishan Reddy is unable to increase the head count of leaders including any substantial MLA seats, BJP in AP under Haribabu is rightly exploiting the weakness of opposition Congress and YSRCP and also ruling TDP.
All said and done, now there is more pressure on Kishan to do something solid for the party here than simply prove his oratory skills in press conferences. BJP in TS should be able to turn cadre into votes whereas BJP in AP has started to overshadow Congress.
