With the ally BJP slowly turning into a thorn by attracting Congress and YSRCP leaders, sources say that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has realized the long term threat. This was being predicted by many political observers in the last few months.
In this regard, Babu is reportedly getting active since many leaders are moving to BJP as TDP is not showing much interest to take them. From their side, they are knocking TDP’s doors first before moving to BJP.
Now, with reports that many leaders from Congress in Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram and YSRCP former leader Konathala are planning to take a plunge, Babu has asked his ministers to open a red carpet for them to welcome into TDP.
In fact, there are reports that even Konathala is interested to move towards TDP than BJP given local preferences and Naidu is doing everything to ensure that he starts nipping BJP’s possible gains in North Coastal AP, a traditional stronghold of TDP.
