Telangana Assembly passed the resolution not to put the name of late NTR to domestic terminal of Shamshabad Airport. Political arguments aroused among TDP, TRS and Congress party in this regard. TDP opposed the resolution, BJP maintains neutral where as Congress and TRS were supported the resolution. Mothkupalli went to Dharna against Telangana Government decision at NTR Ghat and Congress leaders Dharna at Somajiguda against the change of the name.
People should know some reality bites of the history of the political leaders in Telangana. Telangana Chief Minister KCR was hard core fan NTR even before NTR formed TDP. KCR put NTR name to his son later he joined in TDP under the leadership of NTR. KCR was elected as MLA first time as TDP Nominee from Siddipet Assembly. Kundur Jana Reddy was served as Village Sarpanch in Nalgonda district.
With NTR’s call, Jana joined in TDP in 1983 and was elected from Chalakurthi Assembly Constituency. NTR took Jana in his ministry and assigned 15 portfolios to first time elected Jana. Jeevan Reddy was contested as TDP nominee for first time in 1983 from Jagithyala Segment. Jeevan Reddy requested NTR for 10K for election expenditure for his victory. NTR was adjusted 10K to the Jeevan in Hyderabad. Jeevan reddy enters first time to AP Assembly from Jagithyala. Interestingly, the trio leaders were not agreed NTR’s name to Shamshabad Domestic Airport Terminal.
