Well, the Telangana State Chief Minister has been in a biggest problem of power crisis during the few months. This is because of the scarcity of the free water flow through the agricultural lands in Telangana and usage of electricity to the maximum for running motors for water. There seems to be about 20 lakhs of pump sets in the state and the government supplies seven hours of free power consumption for irrigation purposes. This free power supply costs almost 15 crores everyday. This burden is taken up by the government. However, the CM has set up a committee to deal all aspects keeping in mind to bring down burden from farmers head. The committee has to be thinking the possibility of installing solar pumpsets. The committee have to give a cost estimation of the project. This is to be done under the current subsidy for free power and the government is also thinking to replace heavy supply to the same solar pumpsets to make the power crisis problem to reduced. So,what do you think? Is this plan effective?
