The manner in which few newspapers affiliated to both ruling parties, TDP and TRS publish articles baffles neutral readers many times. Now it is the turn of Namasthe Telangana which reportedly dedicated a large column to KCR’s former Guru and TDP founder NT Rama Rao. The column called him Telangana Drohi amid controversial renaming of Shamshabad domestic terminal. The paper said that NT Rama Rao was chiefly responsible for heavy influx of Seemandhra people into Hyderabad. And it was he who filled all government posts with Andhra people. Looking at this, even Telanganites weren’t much happy because BC, SC and ST communities in the region owe their political and social empowerment to NTR. And even the TRS boss KCR lauded him till recently saying he was the first Andhra politician to admit that Telangana people were subjected to injustice. Whether it was a premeditated column from Namaste Telangana or something out of hatred, the taste came out bitter.
