IT and Tourism companies are looking towards Vizag. This time it is from Pharmaceutical sector. Pharmaceutical giant Biocon is contemplating setting up a manufacturing unit in Vizag.
It’s Chairperson and Managing Director Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw met Chief Minister CBN at latter’s residence and said that Biocon has plan to start its unit in Visakhapatnam within 6 months. She gave PPT presentation to CBN on e-healthcare and its advantages. She briefed CBN on e-diagnosis and telemedicine where the company uploads the data of the patients to the cloud.
As per her presentation, patients need not go to cities for the treatments in e-diagnosis. Formation of Biocon Pharmaceuticals in Vizag will generate huge number of jobs to the people. Vizag development can’t stop once NDA declared Special Status or Packages to Northern Districts of AP.
