Now, after the tough brawl between the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on power issue, Lokayuktha has slapped the AP government with notices to give explanation about acting against the power agreement.
Lokayuktha questioned the reason for not giving the power required to the Telangana government that is based on the agreement. It also asked why did the AP government act against the agreement the was signed well before.
Lokayuktha demanded a reply by the AP government by January 19th, 2015. However, this is an ultimate shock from Lokayuktha to the AP government. Advocate from Telangana has approached the Lokayuktha seeking justice in the power issue.
It seems the advocate also blamed the Andhra Pradesh government for going against the power distribution agreement made between the states. He also requested Lokayuktha to demand AP to restore the supply that was written as per the agreement. So, what do you think will the AP govt. reply?
