The manner in which the Congress boss and UPA chief Sonia Gandhi took Telugu people for a ride following Telangana and United AP agitations is well known. The same sense of callousness and negligence followed thereafter in the form of AP bifurcation bill.
This hasn’t caused any happiness for people of Telangana even after separate state formation and how Andhra Pradesh is waiting with thousand eyes for special status. Now after the arrival of the NDA government led by Narendra Modi, many expected a change but that doesn’t seem to be happening.
The manner in which no single decision is being taken regarding special status or tax incentives for AP or even slight benefits for TS is reflecting how even NDA under Modi’s leadership is not doing anything good.
In way Modi seems to be following the path of Sonia Gandhi while denying anything that can benefit Telugu people, so many have begun to feel there is no difference between UPA or NDA. It is about time both Chandrababu Naidu and KCR work on this to ensure things fall in place.
